Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1 Pkg. Active Dry Yeast
3 1/2 Cups Sifted All Purpose Flour
1 1/4 Cups Milk
1/4 Cup Sugar
1/4 Cup Shortening (Crisco)
1 Tsp. Salt
1 Egg - slightly beaten
1/2 Cup Butter - melted
1 Cup Sugar
2 Tbsps. Cinnamon
1 Cup chopped Nuts

Directions:
Directions:
In electric mixing bowl combine yeast and 2 1/4 cups of flour. Heat milk and add sugar, shortening, salt and stir until shortening melts. When milk mixture has cooled to a luke warm temperature combine milk mixture with flour, gradually. Mix well and add beaten egg. Beat on low speed for one minute to blend all ingredients. Scrape all sides of mixing bowl and beat for 3 minutes on high speed.
Stir in enough of the remaining flour to make a soft dough. Place dough into a greased bowl, turn once to grease all sides of dough, cover with wet towel and set in warm place to rise. (Lighted oven)
When dough is doubled in size, turn out on a lightly floured surface. Dived dough in half. Roll each half into 16" x 8" rectangle.
Melt butter and spread over dough. Combine 1/2 cup sugar and 2 tsps. cinnamon and sprinkle over dough, top with nuts.
Roll up dough from long side of rectangle in jelly-roll fashion. Cut in 1 1/2" slices. Place each slice on greased baking pans leaving some space between slices. Cover with a wet towel and let rise to double, 30 to 40 mins.
Bake in a preheated 375º oven for 20 to 25 mins. Top with confectioners sugar icing:
1 cup powder sugar add 1 to 1 1/2 tbsp. cream or milk. Mix to make a thick syrup.
