3 eggs
1 cup milk
1/2 cup melted butter or margarine
1 tablespoon vanilla
2 cups flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon baking powder
2 teaspoons sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Beat eggs in bowl until thick. Beat in milk and melted butter. Combine remaining ingredients. Sift into egg mixture and beat well.

Bake on heated waffle iron.

I sometimes add grated apple and 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon to this recipe.
