1 lb. stew meat
4 slices bacon
1 onion, chopped
1 T. Hungarian sweet paprika
1 1/2 c. beef broth
salt and pepper
1/4 c. long grain rice
2 c. tomatoes, peeled and broken up
1 green pepper, sliced into strips

Directions:
Directions:
Cook bacon; drain, crumble and reserve drippings. Add meat to bacon drippings and brown. Remove meat. Add onion to pan; saute until tender. Remove from heat; stir in paprika. Add beef broth, salt, pepper and meat. Stir well. Bring to a boil; cover and simmer for 1 hr. Add rice, tomatoes, green pepper and reserved bacon, stir well. Simmer 40 min.
