1/4 cup soft butter or margarine
1 1/4 cup granulated sugar
1 egg, beaten
2 cups sifted flour
1 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
2/3 cup mashed bananas
1 1/4 cup coarsely chopped cranberries
1/2 cup chopped nuts

Mix all ingredients and fold in mashed bananas, cranberries, and nuts last.
Bake at 350 for 50 to 70 minutes or until done.
Make one day and serve the next.
