3 medium cucumbers
1 medium onion
1 cup water
1 cup white vinegar
1 tbsp sugar
1 tbsp salt
1/8 tsp pepper
dill

Directions:
Directions:
Peel cucumber, leaving every other part unpeeled. Cut crosswise into thin slices. Slice onion thinly. In a large bowl, combine water, vinegar, sugar, salt, and pepper. Stir in cucumbers and onion. Add dill to taste. Cover and marinate in refrigerator at least 5 hours.
