1 gal. Strong Coffee (sweetened, chilled)
1 gal. Chocolate or Vanilla Ice Cream (I use 1/2 gal of ea)
1 pt. Whipped Cream
pinch Salt
1 c. Rum

Directions:
Directions:
To brew coffee: take 1 c. of instant coffee, 3 c. sugar, then add enough water to equal one gallon. Heat , then allow to cool.

Scoop ice cream into a punch bowl (put together only 1/2 the recipe at a time). Add whipped cream, then 1/2 coffee and salt, add rum and fold gently.

Note: I use decaf and offer rum on the side so everyone, young and old can enjoy. Great for brunch.

Personal Notes:
Jim and I use to have a Christmas party every year we lived in Elizabethtown, Il. It was always on a Thursday night (so we didn't have any drunks). We always served rum on the side. Our friend Norma had a least eight cups of this at one party, which we still tease her about to this day.
