1 c. shortening,
1 c. brown sugar,
1 c. granulated sugar,
2 beaten eggs,
1 tsp. vanilla,
1 1/2 c. flour,
1 tsp. salt,
1 tsp. baking soda,
3 c. oatmeal,
1 c. raisins,
1 c. crushed corn flakes

Directions:
Directions:
Cream shortening and sugars. Add eggs and vanilla. Mix in dry ingredients, add oatmeal and raisins. Chill dough overnight. Roll out and cut with large round cookie cutter. Sprinkle with sugar and bake at 375 10 minutes. Remove from cookie sheets and cool on racks.
