3/4 c. butter, softened
3/4 c. creamy peanut butter
3/4 c. sugar
3/4 c. br. sugar, packed
2 eggs
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. flour
1 1/2 c. quick-cooking oats
3/4 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. (6oz.) chocolate chips
Glaze:
3/4 c. creamy peanut butter
1 c. powder sugar
4 to 6 T. milk
1 c. chopped peanuts

Directions:
1. in a large mixing bowl, cream the butter, peanut butter and sugars. Add eggs, one at a time beat well. Beat in vanilla. Combine the flour, oats, soda and salt; add to creamed mixture and mix well. Pour into a greased 15x10x1 baking pan.

2. Bake at 325 for 18-20 min. or until toothpick comes out clean. Immediately sprinkle with chocolate chips. Allow to soften and then spread over bars.

3. For glaze, beat peanut butter and sugar. Add enough milk to achieve spreading consistency. Carefully spread over warm bars; sprinkle with peanuts. Cool before cutting into bars.
