Ingredients: Dough: 4 cups of flour 3/4 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. baking powder 1 egg 1 3/4 cup water 4 Tbsp. oil In a small bowl beat 1 egg and put aside. Measure flour and salt and baking powder, put in a large bowl, make a well and add water and egg, knead until right consistency. Roll out and cut in to squares and fill with Potato cheese filling.

Directions:Potato Cheese filling: Boil enough potatoes to make 3 cups. When cooked mash and add 1 large onion fried in a little oil or butter. Add 1/2 pound of grated chedder cheese. ( You can also use velveeta cheese ) salt and pepper.Mix well and place 1 tsp. of mixture in squares. Fold over and pinch together well. Place in boiling water and boil for about 15 mins. Drain and serve with melted butter, sauteed onion, bacon bits and sour cream. |
