3 c. self rising flour
3 tbsp honey
1/2 c. parmesan cheese
1 tsp oregano
12 ounces beer at room temperature
1 tbsp shortening
3 tbsp cornmeal
2 tbsp butter

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 325. Combine flour, honey, cheese and herbs; mix well to combine. Stir in beer to produce a stiff batter. Grease loaf pan with shortening and coat bottom and sides of pan with cornmeal. Turn batter into pan and bake for 65 minutes. Brush top of loaf with butter. Turn out and cool on rack.
