3/4 C white shortening 3/4 C margarine 2 C white sugar 4 eggs 2 tsp vanilla 5 C flour 2 tsp baking powder Frosting: 3 C confectioners sugar 1 tbsp light corn syrup 2 tbsp softened butter 3 tbsp hot water 2 tsp salt
Cream shortenings, eggs, sugar and vanilla. Mix in dry ingredients. Chill up to 24 hours. Roll out thick and bake at 400º 6-8 min. Mix frosting ingredients and frost cookies when cool.
