6-7 qts. of pickling cucumbers
7 hot peppers
14 sprigs of fresh dill
7 garlic cloves
1 qt. white vinegar
1 c. salt
2 qts. water.

Directions:
Directions:
Wash cucumbers with detergent and brush; rinse. Soak in ice water for 3 hrs. or longer. In the bottom of each qt. jar, place one hot pepper, two sprigs of dill and one garlic clove.

Pack cucumbers in jars.

Combine white vinegar, water and salt in an enamel or stainless steel pot, bring to a boil for 10 minutes. Pour over cucumbers and seal. Solution covers 6-7 qts.
