1 lb. can of pie cherries
3/4 c. sugar
1 c. sifted flour
1 1/4 c. sugar
3/4 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. milk
2 T. melted butter

Directions:
Directions:
Place cherries and sugar in a saucepan and bring to a good boil; cool.

Place cooled fruit and juice in a deep buttered baking dish. Pour batter over fruit, but do not stir. Bake at 350.
