1 unbaked pie shell
1/2 cup butter
1 c. sugar
3 eggs, slightly beaten
3/4 c. dark corn syrup
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped pecans
Directions:

Cream butter; add sugar gradually and cream together until light and fluffy. Add remaining ingredients and blend well. Pour into pastry shell. Bake on lower shelf of oven at 375º.
