3 tsp baking powder
tsp salt
cup sugar
2 tbsp butter
1 cup raisins
1 cup buttermilk

Directions:
Directions:
Mix first 5 ingredients together. Cut butter into dry ingredients until finely crumbled. Add raisins and blend well. Add buttermilk and mix until evenly blended. Sometimes a few more spoonfuls of buttermilk is necessary but add cautiously as too much makes a less desirably consistency. Spread into well greased iron frying pan or 9-inch round cake pan. Bake in preheated oven at 375 for 30 minutes. Reduce heat to 350 and bake for 15 minutes longer or until toothpick comes out clean.
