3/4 lb. Italian sausage
1/2 c. onion, chopped
1 clove garlic, minced
15 1/2 oz. butter beans, rinsed and drained
15 oz. black beans, rinsed and drained
14 1/2 oz. diced tomatoes, undrained
14 1/2 oz. beef broth
1 green pepper, seeded and chopped
1 tsp. dried basil
2 T. Parmesan, freshly grated

Directions:
Directions:
In large pan, cook sausage, onion, garlic until sausage is browned. Drain. Add beans, tomatoes, broth, and basil. Cover and simmer for 30 - 45 minutes.

Sprinkle each serving with Parmesan and serve with hearty toasted bread. Can substitute black beans with 16 oz. can Bushes Baked Beans.
