1 1/2 lbs. ground beef
1/2 lb. ground pork
2 C dried red mexican beans
2 C water
2 1/2 C (1 No. 2 can) tomatoes
1 1/2 C chopped onion
2 cloves minced garlic
2 tsp salt
2 Tbsp chili powder
1 Tbsp paprika
1 tsp (4) Mojave dried chili peppers
1 tsp thyme
1 tsp sage

Directions:
Directions:
Soak beans overnight and drain. Add water, tomatoes, onion, garlic and seasonings. Brown ground beef and pork and add. Cover and cook slowly for 4 hours (low on stovetop or in a crock pot).
