2 cups flour sifted
3 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
2 eggs separated
1 1/4 cup milk
6 tsp melted shortening
1 tbsp sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Sift dry ingredients together. Separate eggs beat yolks till light add with milk to dry ingredients. Add melted shortening. Beat whites until stiff fold into batter. Cook on waffle iron.
