2 ½ c. flour
1 ¼ c. butter
½ tsp. salt
½ c. milk
1 egg yolk, beaten

Filling:
¼ c. crushed cereal flakes
8 c. sliced apples
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
3 tbsp. flour

Glaze:
1 egg white, beaten

Frosting:
1 c. powdered sugar
¼ c. milk
1/8 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Mix flour and salt, cut in butter as for pie crust. Combine milk and beaten egg yolk, add to flour, blending slightly with fork. Divide into 2 parts, wrap in wax paper and chill several hours.

Roll half of dough to fit bottom of 10x15 jelly roll pan, shaping slightly up at sides. Sprinkle with crushed cereal flakes, arrange apples over cereal. Combine sugar, cinnamon and flour, sprinkle over apples.

Roll remaining dough to cover top of filling. Brush with beaten egg white. Bake at 425º for 20 minutes, reduce heat to 350º and bake about 30 minutes more or until crust begins to brown. Cool and drizzle with frosting.
