2 10oz pkgs frozen small whole onions

4tbs flour

4tbs butter

1/2 tsp salt

1/8 tsp pepper

2 cups milk or half-and-half

Directions:
Directions:
Cook onions according to pkg directions,drain

Heat butter in 2qt saucepan over medium heat until melted. Stir in flour,salt and pepper. Cook over medium heat,stirring constantly,until mixture is smooth and bubbly; remove from heat. Stir in milk. Heat to boiling,stirring constantly. Boil and stir 1 minute.

Stir onions and white sauce together in 2qt casserole, cover and keep warm until serving.
