1 c sugar
1 stick margarine
2 eggs
2 c flour
3 T cocoa
2 oz reed food coloring
1 T vinegar
1 tsp vanilla
1 tsp soda
1 c buttermilk

Directions:
Directions:
Cream sugar and shortening add eggs one at a time. Combine cocoa and coloring making paste add to batter add salt buttermilk add flour alt add vanilla bake 350* for 30 to 35 minutes.
Icing
1 stick margarine
c Crisco
1 c sugar
2/3 c milk
3 T flour
1 tsp milk
Beat real hard may have to add a little more butter
