1 pie shell
1/2 c. sugar
3 T. flour
1 T. cornstarch
1/4 t. salt
1 1/2 c. milk
3 egg yolks slightly beaten
1 t. butter
1 t. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Combine sugar, flour, cornstarch and salt in the top of a double boiler. Mix together with a wooden spoon. Gradually add milk, egg yolks and butter. Have boiler touching the boiling water. Stir constantly for about seven minutes. When thickened, add vanilla.
