2 1/2 c. flour
3 t. baking powder
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 t. salt
1/2 c. shortening
1 c. milk
1 1/2 t. vanilla
2 eggs
Directions:
Directions:
Sift together flour, baking powder, sugar and salt. Add shortening and cream together. Then add milk, vanilla and eggs. Beat on medium speed for 2 minutes. Place in greased and floured cake pans. Bake 350* for about 30 minutes. Test with a knife in center to see if it comes out free of batter.
