1 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon sugar
4 cups water
3 tablespoons butter or margarine

Directions:
Directions:
Bring water to a boil. Add salt. Slowly stir in grits. Stir constantly to prevent lumping. Reduce heat and cover for 10 minutes. Serve hot with butter.
