1 chicken fryer and parts
1/2 cup flour
1 tsp marjoram
1/2 tsp savory
1/2 cup chopped onions
1-16 oz can chicken broth
1 tsp thyme
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1/2 cup celery, diced

Directions:
Directions:
In a heavy skillet heat oil. Coat chicken parts, cut breasts in halves, with flour seasoned with salt, pepper, marjoram, thyme and savory. As pieces brown, remove from skillet to slow cooker set on high. Add can of chicken broth, onions and celery. Cook on high for 1 hour or until seasonings blend. Adjust seasonings. Cook for 30-45 minutes our until chicken is tender. Serve over biscuit, toast, rice or potatoes.
