1 lb. fettuccine noodles
10 oz. medium shrimp
10 oz. sea scallops
1/4 c. butter
2 tbsp. cream sherry
1/2 c. heavy cream
1 egg, beaten well
2 minced garlic cloves
salt and pepper, to taste
fresh parsley, to taste
3/4 c. romano and parmessan cheese

Boil noodles per package instructions, drain. Keep warm. Meanwhile, saute seafood in butter for 3-6 minutes for until scallops turn white and shrimp pink. Add sherry and simmer about 1 minute. Add cream and bring to a boil, stirring constantly.

Temper egg (add small amount cream to egg to warm, then add egg into pan). Add garlic, salt and pepper and parsley. Stir in cheese until smooth. Toss with fettuccine.
