Olive oil, plum tomatoes (or canned/crushed tomatoes), basil fresh and dried, salt, garlic, oregano, pepper

Depending on how you like it, the measurements are very flexible. I use about 28 oz can of tomatoes or a dozen plum tomatoes, 1/4 cup of olive oil about 7 cloves of garlic. But any combination will be great.

In a sauce pan heat oil and add garlic, add the tomatoes, salt, pepper, garlic powder, dried basil, oregano and cook on high for about 10 - 15 minutes. If you using fresh tomatoes squish them down after they are soft.

Let simmer for 10 15 minutes more with added fresh basil.

I learned how to do this when I lived in Naples. You can't add too much of any of the ingredients so it is great and it is fast to make and tastes great
