1 1/2 lbs. baby back spareribs
3 T. soy sauce
1 T. sweet sherry
1/2 t. garlic powder
2 t. sugar
1 T. vegetable oil

Mix marinade together, dissolving the sugar completely. Cut ribs into individual ribs and soak in marinade for at least 8 hours. Broil until nicely browned (slightly burned) turning once, about 10 minutes per side.


2 T. sugar
2 T. soy sauce
1 T. sherry
1 T. vinegar
1 t. cornstarch

Cook all 5 ingrdients in a saucepan over medium high heat until thickened. Toss cooked ribs to coat and serve.
