1 pkg. dry yeast
1 cup sugar
2-1/2 cups lukewarm water
1 cup sugar
3 Tbs. butter
1 tsp salt
2 beaten eggs
6-8 cups flour

Directions:
Directions:
Begin by mixing yeast, 1 Tbs. sugar and 1/2 cup lukewarm water. Let stand 20-minutes.
Mix yeast mixture and remaining sugar mixture together. Add 2 cups lukewarm water. Add 6-8 cups flour. Knead until flour is mixed well. Place in greased bowl, cover, let dough rise to double size.
Flattne out mixture about 1/4 inch thick and cut our doughnuts. Let rise till double insize.
Fry in deep fryer or electric skillet at 350 degrees until light brown.
For Glazed doughnut: Make past of powdered sugar and milk, then ice when doughnuts are cool.
For sugar doughnuts: Combine sugar and cinnamin together and sprinkle over warm doughnuts.
