Oriental Beef with Snow Peas Recipe

1 1/2 lbs. steak
3 T. sherry
2 T. soy sauce
1 tsp. sugar
1/2 tsp ginger
1 clove garlic, finely minced
1 cup water
2 beef bouillon cubes
2 T. cornstarch
3 T. cooking oil
1 - 7 oz. package pea pods
1 cup sliced celery
1 cup sliced mushrooms
1 cup sliced onions
1 can water chestnuts, sliced (6 1/2 oz)
1 1/2 tsp. salt

Slice meat into strips and cover with marinade. Refrigerate for 1 hour.
Drain marinade and cook steak until gray. Add pea pods and marinade. Cook 1 minute more (high heat).
Add celery, mushrooms, onions and water chestnuts. Stir to cook over high heat. 2 minutes.
Mix bouillon cubes, water, corn starch and salt together. Add to mixture on stove. Cook until sauce is clear and thick.
