1 C Butter 1/2 C Sugar 1 Egg 1/2 tsp Salt 1 tsp Almond Extract 2 1/4 C Flour
Cream butter, sugar, egg, salt and almond extract. Stir in flour by hand. Fill a cookie press and form shapes onto ungreased baking sheets. Sprinkle colored sugars on top of cookies before baking. Bake at 400º for 4 to 5 minutes.
