7 cloves garlic, peeled
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 tsp crushed red pepper flakes or to taste
1/4 tsp freshly ground black pepper or to taste
2 1/2 Tbps freshly squeezed lemon juice
1/3 cup plus 1 Tbsp olive oil
1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley leaves
1 1/2 lb flank steak

Directions:
Directions:
Chop the garlic cloves on a cutting board and mash in the salt (I use a small cuisinart). scrape the paste into a glass bowl and add the red pepper flakes, black pepper and lemon juice. Blend in the parsley. Marinate the flank stead for 1-3 hours
