1 cup uncooked rice (not instant)
1/2 cup spaghetti, broken into pieces
3 cups boiling water
2 tsp. Dried onion
3 cloves garlic, minced (or 3/4 tsp. Dried)
1 Tbs. Chicken bouillon (3 bouillon cubes)
Pepper to taste
1 tsp. Dried parsley

Fry rice and spaghetti in margarine till lightly browned. Add water, onion, garlic, and spices. Cover and simmer 35 minutes.

You can add veggies to this, cheese or anything else you might like. Do it to fit your family's taste. You can even add meat to it when you add the water. I sometimes brown hamburger and add to it to make a main dish. I loved this recipe and it sure helps when you are in a pinch at times.
