4 c. sugar 2 c. water 1 pint brandy or vodka 3/4 c. instant coffee 1 vanilla bean
Mix coffee, water and sugar in large sauce pan. Bring to a boil, then remove from heat and cool. Add brandy/vodka and vanilla bean. Pour into a half gallon bottle and seal tightly. Let sit for at least 30 days.
