10 large shrimp
salt and pepper
1/4 c. butter
3 large mushrooms, sliced thin
2 shallots, minced
2 cloves garlic, minced
3 T. diced green onion
1/4 c. half and half or whipping cream
1 T. sherry
1 tsp. chopped parsley

Directions:
Directions:
Season shrimp with salt and pepper. Saute in butter, turning them when they become pink. Add mushrooms, shallots, garlic and onion. Saute about 4 minutes. Add sherry and simmer 1 minute. Add cream and parsley and serve immediately over linguine.
