2 c. boiling water
2 c. All Bran cereal
1 c. raisins
2 c. sugar
½ c. Honey
1 c. & 3 T. shortening
4 eggs
6 c. flour
5 t. baking powder
2 t. salt
1-quart buttermilk (4 c. milk & 4 T. vinegar)
4 more c. All Bran

Directions:
Directions:
Pour boiling water over first 2 cups of all bran. Add raisins, stir and set aside. In large bowl cream sugar, honey and shortening. Add eggs and beat well. Blend in buttermilk. Add bran and raisin and mix. Add the 4 cups of bran and mix. Stir in flour, soda and salt that has been blended into bran mixture and mix well. Cover tightly and store in refrigerator. It will keep for 6 weeks.

To bake muffins:
Spoon into greased tins without stirring.
Bake 16 to 20 minutes
