2 c. sugar
1/2 c. white syrup
1/2 c. water
2 egg whites
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. walnuts; chopped

Directions:
Directions:
In a medium saucepan, mix sugar, white syrup, and water. Bring to boil unstirred until a candy thermometer reads 252º. In a mixing bowl, stiffly beat egg whites. Beating continuously, carefully drizzle sugar syrup into the egg whites. The egg white mixture will appear shiny. Continue to beat until it looses it's gloss. Stir in vanilla and nuts. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto waxed paper. Fudge will harden as it cools at room temperature.
