1 # lean corned beef, cut into bite-sized pieces 1/2 c (or more) chopped onions, scallions or chives 1/2 c (or more) sauerkraut, rinsed and squeezed fairly dry 1 c Swiss cheese, grated 2 or more T capers, optional 3/4 c mayonnaise 1/4 c chili sauce 2-3 t horseradish 2-3 t sharp mustard
1. Toss together first 5 ingredients. 2. In separate bowl blend the remaining 4 ingredients. Adjust for taste and gently stir into corned beef mixture. Chill and serve in Rye and Onion Pita.
