8 slices bacon fried crispy
1 large onion diced
3 16oz cans french style green beans
2 cans cream of mushroom soup
1 8oz can sliced water chestnuts (drained)
1 2.8oz can fried onion rings crumbled

Directions:
Directions:
Cook bacon til crisp and cool then crumble and set aside. Reserve 2 T bacon drippings in skillet and saute onion. Remove onion from pan and mix well with soup and beans. Layer 1/2 of mixture in a 8x12x2 inch baking dish. Arrange chestnuts on top, sprinkle 1/2 of crumbled bacon over this. Spread remaining bean mixture over this, cover and bake for 30 minutes at 350. Uncover and spread remaining bacon and fried onions on top and bake until browned.
