3 c. grated carrots
1 t. baking powder
2 c. flour
1/2 t. salt
2 c. sugar
1 t. cinnamon
2 t. baking soda
4 eggs, well beaten
1 1/4 c. vegetable oil
1 t. vanilla

16 oz. pkg. powdered sugar
8 oz. cream cheese
1/2 c. margarine, softened
1 t. vanilla
1 c. pecans

CAKE: Combine first seven ingredients. Stir in eggs, oil and vanilla. Mix well. Spoon into 3 greased and floured cake pans. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes.
ICING: Cream first four ingredients until well blended. Stir in pecans and spread over each layer of cake.
