1 c. sifted all-purpose flour
2 T. sugar
2 1/2 t. baking powder
1/2 t. salt
1 c. whole bran
1 well beaten egg
1 c. mashed ripe banana
1/4 c. milk
2 T. salad oil (vegitable oil) or melted shortening

Directions:
Directions:
sift together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. stir in bran. mix remaining ingredients; add all once to flour mixture, stirring just to moisten. fill greased muffin pans 2/3 full. bake at 400 for 20-25 minutes.
