1 cup diced black fig or cranraisins
1 Tbsp. honey
1/2 cup toasted pine nuts
24 slices french baguette, brushed with melted butter and toasted until brown
one recipe blue cheese brandy butter
chopped Italian parsley

Blue Cheese Brandy Butter:
1 stick unsalted butter, softened
4 oz. crumbled creamy blue cheese at room temp
1 tbsp. brandy or cognac
1 tbsp. minced chives
salt and pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Blue Cheese Brandy Butter: Combine all ingredients and mix until smooth and chill until until ready to use.

In a small bowl combine the figs, honey, balsamic vinegar and pine nuts. Spread two tsp. of the blue cheese butter on arc pieces of toasted bread and top with a small spoonful of the figs. Sprinkle the crostini with parsley.
