2 cups milk Between 1/2 and 3/4 cup sugar (5 oz.) 1/4 cup cornstarch 1/2 cold milk 3 egg yolks
Mix the first two ingredients together and bring to a boil. Blend the last three ingredients together and add to the first mixture. Cook and stir until thick. Remove from heat and add a little butter and vanilla.
