1 CUP (PACKED) BROWN SUGAR
A CUP MILK
3 TBL. LITE KARO SYRUP
½ TSP. SALT
1/3 CUP PEANUT BUTTER
1 ½ TSP. VANILLA

N HEAVY SAUCEPAN, MIX SUGAR, MILK, SYRUP AND SALT. BRING TO A BOIL OVER MEDIUM HEAT. STIR ONLY TO DISSOLVE SUGAR. SET CANDY THERMOMETER IN PAN. COOK WITHOUT STIRRING UNTIL TEMP REACHES 234 DEGREES. COOL TO 110 DEGREES. ADD VANILLA AND PEANUT BUTTER. BEAT TILL THICKENS AND IT LOOSES ITS GLOSS. POUT INTO 8 X 8 X 2 GREASED PAN. COOL AND CUT
