5 Vidalia onions, sliced in thin rings
1 stick butter
24 - 30 Ritz crackers, crushed
3/4 - 1 c. Parmesan cheese, grated
2 -3 T. milk, as desired

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 325º.

Slice onions and separate into rings. Saute in butter until limp, but not brown. Crush Ritz crackers in food processor. Grease a 9 x 13 baking dish and layer onions, crackers, Parmesan. Repeat three times. Add 2 - 3 tablespoons milk, if onions appear dry.

Bake for 30 minutes, until bubbly and golden brown.
