1 c plus 2 tbs. butter, softened
3/4 c. packed light brown sugar
1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 3/4 c. flour
2 1/2 c. oats
3/4 c. each chocolate chunks and plain M & M's
1 c. chopped pecans

Heat oven 375. Beat butter and sugars ina bowl with mixer until fluffy. Beat in eggs, vanilla, baking soda, salt until blended.
With mixer on low, beat in flour to blend. Stir in oats, 1/2 c. each chocolate chunks and M&M's and 3/4 c. pecans.
Drop heaping tbs. onto ungreased baking sheet. Stick remaining chocolate, M&M's and pecans into tops of cookies
Bake 10 to 12 minutes until golden brown.
