3 tbs. butter, softened 1 c sugar 2 eggs 1 tsp. vanilla 2 c flour 1/4 tsp. baking soda Add ins: 1/2 c pistachios 1 c choc. chips
Heat oven 350º Beat first six ingredients in large bowl with mixer until combined. Add your choice of flavors and mix together. Divide dough in two; roll each half into a 12" log. Place on ungreased baking sheet, 3 in. apart. Bake 25 min. Remove from oven; cool 10 min. Cut logs into 1/2 in. thick diagonal slices. Place slices upright on baking sheet and return to oven. Bake 10 to 12 min until golden.
