1 package fresh spinach
1 head lettuce
1 pound bacon, cooked and crumbled

Dressing:
3/4 cup vegetable oil
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 small onion, minced
1 tsp mustard
1/3 cup vinegar
1 Tbsp poppy seeds

Directions:
Directions:
Prepare dressing by heating oil and sugar just enough to melt the sugar. Add remaining ingredients and blend well. Prepare ahead and refrigerate until ready to toss with the salad.

Tear spinach and lettuce into bite sized pieces, sprinkle with bacon pieces, and toss with dressing just before serving.
