Butter pecan crust:
1/2 cup butter
1 cup flour
1/4 cup light brown sugar
1/3 cup chopped pecans

Strawberry filling:
1 cup crush strawberries
3/4 cup water
1 cup sugar
2 1/2 Tbsp. Cornstartch
1 Tbsp. butter
1 to 1 1/2 qts. fresh strawberries
Whipped cream

Crust: Blend butter, flour and sugar until crumbs form. Stir in nuts. Press mixture into 9" pie pan. Bake @ 375 for 12 to 15 minutes until golden brown.

Filling: Crush 1 cup strawberries. In small sauce pan combine first 4 ingredients, cook stirrieng until mixture thickens, add butter & cool. Arrange berries in baked pie shell, pout cooled mixture over top. Chill. Top with whipped cream.
