3 cup uncooked elbow macaroni
1 lb. hamburger
1 large chopped onion
1 small green pepper, chopped
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1 lb. canned tomatoes
2 cups water

Directions:
Directions:
Start the macaroni cooking, following the directions on the box. In a large frying pan brown the hamburger, onion and green pepper. Add salt and pepper. Stir occassionally then drain off the fat. Add tomatoes and water to the hamburger mixture. Cover the pan and simmer 5 minutes. When the macaroni is done, drain it and return it to the pot it was cooked in. Add the hamburger-tomato mixture to the macaroni. Cook on medium heat for 15-20 minutes then serve.
